  my stay in sonnenhof was one that will haunt me for the remainder of my life. Whilst staying in this cold, dark cabin in the snow i was truly taken back by the owners how they treated their guest, especially the male owner. I couldn't help but always think that his approach to me odd and daunting, catching him looking through the changing rooms in the spar and the constant touching on the back at the dining area. I couldn't help but feel helpless in the sense i didn't feel safe in my own skin, always having to pace back to my room feeling i was always being watched by him everywhere i go, catching him licking his lips when i would take off boots at the door. then to find during the time of me staying there in July of 2017 there was a young girl raped, a girl only 3 years of age..... an infant, possibly only rooms away from me and then i dawned on me, the horrific feeling i was getting being watched by the male owner getting changed near the spare made only one conclusion for me and thats he allowed a rapist to be around every kind heart person staying there and not only that on his watch a child being raped. A sicking feeling being a guest staying in this horrible place in the mountains and i would never recommend this experience to anyone.

  My husband and I have stayed here for three years now and each time are impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the amazing food and the location. Would not look to stay anywhere else since discovering this little gem!!!

  Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, reasonable price. The food was good although a bit small portions for a big eater after a full day of skiing. The spa/sauna is awesome. Clean room, decent beds, could definitely use a bar fridge in the room though. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  We have been staying at Sonnenhof for at least 8 years. We wouldn't go anywhere else. It's comfortable, the food is great and the spa is amazing! We've gotten to know the owners and some of the regular guests. We always look forward to staying there.

  A really good stay! The facilities are great and has a real family run, homey feel to it. A bit of a walk when the transport isn't running, but worth it when you get to the spa and sauna!
