Staff was very friendly. Nothing beats relaxing in front of a warm fire with hot chocolate. Great experience all around!

Compared to many other hotels and especially the lodges in the valley, the Man doesn't really stack up anymore. Clean and neat rooms, with good hot showers and easy enough access to snow. Convenient having parking on site, which is probably the biggest sell for families. Unfortunately we made the mistake of booking dinner in the pub rather than the restaurant. I guess we should have expected that meant waiting half an hour for a table to free up, then another 45 minutes for our meal (two starters and two pizzas), to be told that they'd run out of desserts. Duck spring rolls were inedible - reeked of aniseed. Pizzas were a pleasant surprise. We had chosen the pub so we could watch two NSW teams play in the finals of the AFL and NRL. Three TV's in the bar, showing NRL finals on one (good) and rugby on the other two, and when we asked if the AFL could be put on - not interested, no can do. In the end, when the NRL finished, all three were set to the rugby even though the AFL was still going! Felt like we were treated as blow-ins or punters, rather than guests. Will be going back to a lodge for our next stay. Would reccomend this only for families with young kids and money to burn.

Bad Rooms, your better off going to the Jindabyne motel because at least the room is a lot cheaper and is around the same quality. The only positives of the hotel is the hospitality and they location, but otherwise the room is a poor quality and is overpriced.
